[Trans] Summary and Translation of TVXQ on ShimShimTapa

Shindong introduced the boys and fangirls’ screams can be heard. Shindong said, “Wow, a lot of people have come to MBC Radio today!” But then Yunho said, “Aren’t the screams just a recording though?” And Shindong told Yunho that he catches on pretty fast. xD Shindong congratulated them on their new album and for topping the music charts for 3 consecutive weeks.

Shindong asked them what they felt when they first listened to KYHD (The title track, not the album as a whole). Yunho said, “When I first heard it, I thought, ‘this song is OURS’.” It had a really strong beat and although he was worried about how he and Changmin would sound singing it, the song had an appeal that he wanted to show the fans. They also briefly talked about their solos in the album and if I heard correctly, Yunho wrote part of the lyrics to HFB, particularly the chorus.

They then proceeded to sample the songs from the album, and Shindong just kept showering them with praises Funny when How Can I started playing, Shindong said “Ohhh, the piano line here is good.” And then Changmin told him, “Ahh, but then I start singing.” xD When Maximum went on, Yunho mentioned that the dance really takes out all their strength. And LOL at Yunho, when he was talking about HFB he literally translated Honey Funny Bunny in Korean xDDD Shindong said, “Oh, but it doesn’t talk about Honey, Funny and Bunnies, right?” Yunho said “Haha, no, of course not.”  Rumor came on, and Changmin said that it’s a relaxing R&B song. Shindong suggested that it would be nice to listen to it while drinking wine, or a cocktail. Changmin said “Ohhhh, so this song evokes that feeling.” Haha. Confession came on, and Changmin was sporting this kind of shy albeit incredibly adorable expression and Yunho mentioned that he was with Changmin when he was writing this track, and that while he was watching him he felt that Changmin has become a really cool guy. xD As Changmin was listening to Yunho he was smiling sheepishly. Shindong then asked, “Ahh, Changmin-ssi… This song is entitled “Confession”, who is this confession for?” Changmin was already starting to answer, but then Yunho cut him off and said “Ah, it’s okay, you don’t have to say it! I know everything already. Yeah…that’s it. I have to protect what I have to protect.” LOL at how protective Yunho is about their private lives and Changmin was just ready to answer. =D

Then they sang How Can I. And let me just rant for a while, When will these guys ever sing She?  LOL anyway, they proceeded to another segment where the boys were supposed to answer O or X for the questions. First question was “I think i’m the better-looking person in dbsg”, and they both answered X. Shindong said, “Ahhh, but this can’t be.” The boys said “But it’s the truth.” Min said “When it comes to Visual, it’s Jung Yunho.” Yunho then interrupts and says “No, It’s Shim Changmin!” And basically the just go on a back-and-forth exchange, like one is more handsome than the other.  Shindong asked them what their first impression of each other was, and Min abruptly said “It wasn’t good!” And they all laughed. Changmin said that when he first met Yunho and he approached him to say hi, Yunho said “Oh, hi..” sort of like dismissing him. xD And then the second time they met, Yunho told him (if I heard/understood correctly…not too sure about this) “If you want to step out while we’re practicing, then step out.” Yunho defended himself saying that at that moment, so many people were stepping out in the middle of practice, so he wasn’t in a good mood then. With regard to his first impression of Changmin, Yunho said that Min seemed really shy, like he didn’t have any confidence whatsoever. Shindong also mentioned that Changmin was really quiet that time.

They were asked if they were ever ashamed/if there ever came a time when they didn’t like their name, and both said X again. Yunho said that in the beginning, they felt embarrassed by the name and when people would ask them what their group name was, they’d say “Dong Bang…Ki” lol but they eventually warmed up to it. Yunho also mentioned that there are two leaders now (this has been mentioned in the thread, right?) Angry Changmin and Non-angry Changmin, to which Shindong laughed at. Changmin said that his name, “Choikang Changmin” embarrassed him a bit before, but eventually he felt that it was the right decision for him to be named so. Shindong mentioned that before DBSG debuted his ID name (I guess in cafes and other sites) was CHOIKANG DONGHEE. People didn’t think much of it but when DBSG debuted people kept telling him, “Why are you copying Choikang Changmin?” That’s why he changed it to Donghee dong dong  They ended up suggesting other names for Shindong hehe.

Okay I kind of skipped 5-7 minutes. xD So cute when KYHD was playing, Changmin was dancing hehe and then someone came on and apparently it’s Ze:a’s Kyunghee? And hahaha I laughed when Shindong was dancing to “Waegeurae waegeurae” (oh dear, I’m bad at romanizations lol) he and Yunho were so cute 

They were asked: “What is the greatest lie you’ve ever told in your life?” Yunho said that he’s tricked people before(something about money) , and Changmin admitted to it too. They talked about how they used to lie to their parents when they were younger.

Last question: “When do you feel old/that you’ve become older?” Changmin said it’s when staff and stylists start calling him oppa when before, he used to address everyone as noona/hyung.

And LOL, Simsimtapa went overtime for 10 minutes because they kept talking and talking. xD The show ended with “Confession”.
